I have never really believed that hypnosis could work, I decided that I might as well give it a try for the heck of it.

Can hypnosis really work?
Can Phantom Extensions work, it sounds strange to be able to see yourself as a wolf, dog, cat, baby, or furry?
I am not sure if I get into a trance when I do it, is there a better way to make this happen?
What are some good files for beginners that have had good results?

Yes it can work.

First just use the induction files to start your mind getting used to hypnosis.

Some files are more advance and will take a lot of practice before working.

Try the trig Freeze file.That seems to be a popular file that seems to work quite well for the beginners.

A lot of people expect to listen once and get the effects of the file.That can happen but it normally takes repeated listens.

Interestingly enough, it's unimportant whether someone believes.

When a specific area of the brain is stimulated, conscious thought is overridden and learning takes place. The amygdala is triggered by both fearful and pleasant (appetitive) events.

Someone aspiring to be a hypnotist would do well to note the importance of evoking emotion during trance.
