Trance question.

Sort of....

It depends on you to enter a deep trance. If you're worried about the fan holding you back, even just that fear will hold you back. If you're not worried about it, and can tune it out, then there shouldn't be much of a problem. Some people could achieve a deep trance in even the busiest of places if they've got experience and desire to, while others can't maintain one at the drop of a pen. It's all up to you.

Why don't you experiment a little and see how things go without the trance. If you feel better about your trance with it off, you'll have found the problem, if there even is one.

well, for me, the fan sometimes helps, the noise level is low yet it is enough that i can tell when i am acheiving focus on the trance file as the sound of the fan gets more and more faint until the voice in my ear buds gets really loud. it may be different for you but, for me, i use the fan as a tool to know if i am focusing or not.
