Trance or Trance?

Hi All! I have some new thoughts, as I the other day watched a show about hypnotism on TV! First of all the participants seemed to believe everything he said after the induction. And thats the show! Making ordinary people doing stupid things!

But some of the to-be participants could not be on the show because the induction did not work good enough. (no explanation on it)
How can I "test" if I am such a person?

I also remembered a book I`ve read once about hypnotic trances. The book told that the TRUE trance was like the one you find yourself in when youre dreaming. Because in that state of mind you believe everything you see before you! You see impossible things, you can fly etc.. and you accept it.
It had something with making one of the sides of the brain go to sleep (I guess it was the side that reasons)

A trance like that is far from just a deep relaxed state of mind, am I correct?

Is there any place on the Net I can learn more of how to tranquilize the bad half of my brain???
