should we have an instant messenger on the forum

its a bit complicated, when your on the forum, you have a list at the bottom of the screen of the people who are online so you can instant messenger them.....ps. not my idea.

I kinda prefer the IRC channel or instant messenger over web based stuff, but there's no reason not to have an IM system for the forums, or rather "PM's" I guess.... the phpBB software has that built in as far as i know.
