I went to the chat window and entered my nick but was then taken to a different website which said my Java plugin was out of date.

AND Mozilla (I am using Firefox) says my Java plugin is up to date.

I haven't been able to reproduce this, has anyone else seen this?

[color=blue]Clicking the 'Chat' icon caused my browser to join WMM chat successfully. The chatroom was quite busy - an indication that other members are not experiencing the described problem.

I've just checked logging into the chat room again and it has behaved perfectly.

I'm not sure what happened when I had the highly suspicious message but everything seems OK now.

Most people in the chat connect with their own IRC clients so that's not necessarily true.
