what is that round blue icon with what looks like a white pumpkin or something?
it's pinned in the lower right corner of the screen. I am not willing to click on it.

That is the link to the WMM Discord (chat) server.

That is correct, it actually lets people interact with the chat server as well although accessing it through Discord is better.

Would like to try it. I was on this site a long time ago, and I couldn't connect to the old chat when I came back. A new one sounds good.

Do you need a Discord acct to use it? I'm not thrilled about giving more companies my data, specially if it's linked to these sites.

I tried the button in the corner of the site, but it says to tell the site owner they need to update the widget.

Thanks for letting me know it was broken, icon fixed. You will have to create a discord account to use the chat as the channel is hosted on their server.
