Cleaning the nick list

Yesterday I was looking for a nickname in the registered people list....
And it caught my eye that it's polluted with a lot of "bad" entries.
Perhaps a good idea to clean the list of all people who haven't logged in for a few months or a year? And set that to default? (cleaning nicks that expire with an x period of time.
