recording technics

could it be usefull to add a section as "technical advise" about how to make a good recording ?
specially for people who don't want to spent too much money in it and need a simple step by step solution, maybe with 2-3 drawings
the first one could be "the best use of a 5€ microphone"
the second one could be "how to denoise and normalize with audacity"
i'm conscious my english is too poor for a good howto, but i can make the drawings if there is somebody interested
