Unlikely. If it is then your computer is not long for this world. probably your temperature sensor is wrong. Is that the CPU temp reported by the bios?

If i were you id download Sisoft sandra (freeware version) and double check that reading as soon as possible.

according to the first page only one CPU is well within the safe zone at 87.7 degrees celcius: The pentium M. there are several where that temperature is barely within operational limits. but as the article said temp readings are unreliable.

Further the closer a CPU is to max allowable temperature the shorter it's lifespan. you might want to verify the temperature and if it checks out consider a new heatsink or fan or reroute your cabling to allow better airflow, add a case fan, giver your case breathing room claer clutter away from the intake and exhaust fans.

I run a thermaltake sub zero 4 thermo electric peltier effect active cooling system on my CPU. It has to be throttled back to prevent frost and condensation on my CPU.

That makes it 70 something C. Still high for some CPUs but probably not hers if it is a fairly new computer. She is most likely OK as far as her computer is concerned. She still does not know how to wrap text though.

So I was driving along after an indoor-soccer game, and I thought 'hey, why not get some Maccas on the way home'. So I pull up, expecting to just drive through and get my meal, when I see this guy inside and an unattended car in the drive-through. I was slightly nervous, I thought he was going to rob the place, since he was yelling his head off and waving his arm around.

Turns out he had been waiting in drive-through for so long his car has over-heater and the engine had blown. This proves my theory that Mcdonalds never close, they just become understaffed.
