Stolen Stories

What if we see a story here that was plainly stolen from another site?

I'm speaking of The Baby Hotel, stolen from Dailydiapers.

First of all, was it the same author crossposting his/her own story? If so, it's not stolen.

If it wasn't, I'd inform the original author, if possible, and EMG, the guy who runs this site.

Good answer Shadow, that's what I would do too. If you cannot contact them on the other site let me know and I can ask the person who posted here.

rlcollin73@aol.com was the email posted with the story on daily diapers. It, however, bounces back--the email no longer exists.

Also, sorry I didn't try that in the first place. :)

Besides, it's only stolen if there's no credit given to the author. Did the story contain a request not to distribute?

Nope, he didn't. But the "thief" didn't give credit at all, he passed it off as his own work basically.

Ok, based on the information you posted about who the original author was, I know that WMM doesn't have a user with that email address. I will contact the person who posted the story and find out what I can.
