I saw awhile back that EMG set up a beta from the new site, and I had a look, but since then it's like nothing else has been said. Were plans scrapped to migrate over, or is it still in the works?

It's still in the works. New sites have lots of bugs and EMG is busy working them out. Plus he's adding new features which also takes a lot of time.

I don't know how close we are to a complete transfer but it's going to be a while yet.
