Some sites somewhere indicate right handed right brained people are better
subjects for hypnosis. Anybody have any information on this. sleepy134

I have never heard anything on the subject.
Each half of the brain is used for different tasks, and using different language for each half is a good way of creating trance. A double induction is when two hypnotists talk into one ear of the client and use different language patterns for each ear. The right ear will be connected to the left brain hemisphere and vice versa.
For left handed people they would swap the language round, as in most cases the brian hemispheres would be the opposite way round to a right handed persons.
I cant see how a right handed person would have any advantage over a left hander in trancing easier. BUT i am not disputing the fact either.

I can easily believe some hypnotists would have trouble with people who don't match their own strengths...
