To those who think it's a kid's book - read the new one; you'll be surprised. Of course it won't make sense without the last five but meh.

*nod Stewie* That's what I put together too. Several hints dropped.

Hints:

Initials 'RAB'
Sirius's brothers' name is Regulus Something Black
Regulus was hunted and killed by Voldemort and his deatheaters for some reason.

Anyone think Dumbledore prearranged everything with Snape?

 I love the books, I've read each one about 5 times so far. While I didn't think R.A.B. was Regulus Black it does fit. I know there are people who say it can't be Regulus because the Death Eaters knew that Voldemort had created Horcruxes but I'll just point out that Lucius didn't know that the diary he planted on Ginny in Chamber of Secrets was a Horcrux. Maybe they did know he had created some but didn't know what they were so Regulus could of found out what one was and that would fulfill the part about R.A.B. finding out Voldemorts secret. As to the question of if Dumbledore prearranged things with Snape I'd have to say yes.

I'd have to disagree - the spell Snape used isn't temporary y'know.... Plus Dumbledore looked really surprised that he'd used it....

That's called a good cover mate.

All I have to say is: Remember Faux(sp?) the phoenix, Dumbledores' pet.

 There is a sight that gives some good arguements that what we saw isn't really what happened. I'm trying not to give away that part as it would be a spoiler and there might be some people who haven't read the book yet.

Dumbledore died, it happens. You don't have to like it but just accept it. Yoda died too I still cry about it yes but he did. However that doesn't mean that he is gone from the books, Hogwarts indeed has a number of ghosts on site I see no reason why Dumbledore couldn't have remained. I'm not sure he could leave his task of watching over the students and cross over

Oddly enough, I have read many books about magic wielders, but never Harry potter.

To be perfectly honest, it isn't all that good. That being said, it isn't all that good in the sence that the Beatles weren't all that good and the dead parrot sketch wasn't all that good. But a nice read on a rainy afternoon (thats why it sold so well in the UK) and don't listen to the illiterates who say it take a month to read.
