I've noticed that they go down sometimes too. (Chrome here) Every time it comes back up for me, the recent additions have been updated. I can't say why it wouldn't be working for days on end, but that's just what I've observed.

I never had a problem with it until the last week or so. And sometimes now some of it works but not other parts of it. The other day I could access everything but the Recently Added catagory.

I think it may be a periodic DNS problem. Try this entryway instead:

Also, on the home page above, they state on 11/23 that they have problems and should be fixed by next week.

Checked with Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Aol Web browser. They all work just fine; they go down periodically to update content, and they HAVE gone down for day at a time before due to a botched update. In other words, if you don't connect after around 3 tries, wait an hour or two and try again. This is a common thing with mcstories.com.

I changed my bookmark to the link I noted above, since I NEVER have a problem with that link, but often have a problem with the mcstories.com link.
