Progress with diaper training

about six months ago I started to regularly use MindMaster’s bladder retraining series (mostly Bladder Retraining and Poopy Pampers) and then more recently swapped over to the HM series (mostly 1,3,4). I’m now in diapers ever and don’t even think about the big boy potty anymore.

Most days, I’m effortlessly pooping my diapers and often don’t even know until it’s happening. I’ve even woken up in a messy diaper, which i loved! Wetting is just automatic, although I do wish I wet the bed more consistently (I’m not sure why I don’t always let go in bed, although I sometimes have the “pee dream” and wake up already peeing my diaper, which feels nice, and go back to sleep.

I have many days where my diaper is wet, and I don’t remember wetting. I’ve even had a few messy diapers like that—all things I’m very happy about. I think over the last few months I finally started to accept this really makes me happy and makes my life better, which helped me embrace it and let go.

Anyway, just wanted to share. At this point, I still listen some days for fun but find my control is already gone.

That’s awesome that you have had so much success. I am still trying to figure out how I want to go about achieving incontinence, whether it’s through hypnosis or diaper training myself. How do bowel movements work for you? Do you get an urge and you just act upon it immediately? Or does it just come out with no warning and no pushing?

Both actually happen for me. If I’m eating adequate amount of fruits and vegetables (5 total servings of either a day), then it usually just happens cuz everything is pretty soft. This is ideal.

If I’m constipated, it can vary from starting on its own and getting stuck (and I have to push); or having a strong sudden need to go and it’s clear I have to gently push or walk or something to get it going . At first, I didn’t like this (to be fair, bad constipation isn’t fun), but then I realized 1) this is why parents don’t like their toddlers being constipated; and 2) if you’ve ever seen a constipated toddler, they also are clearly voluntarily pushing too.

Regardless, I don’t even think about using toilets, being potty trained, or “holding it.” That’s what my diaper is for.

Did you find HM3 gave you a ton of baby behaviors? I think 1 is the only one that is safe if you don't want to do many baby things. I spend most time alone waddling around watching baby shows, dancing along or responding in baby talk, sucking pacifiers with a stuffed toy, and I have a bunch of bottles all over the place because I randomly drop them to go back to playing. Additional to going through a ton of diapers >.<.
