I have been using various files over the past years and HM 1 and 2 are two that I gravitate back to the most.

When listening to these and other files I wonder how I am supposed to take/understand when I am to repeat suggestions. For instance "When I say, this is my suggestion, you accept the suggestion that follows" When I say this out loud, I get confused on who is the "I" and who is the "you". I know its a bit of a language thing, but my mind over analyzes most things. How should I interpret these?

Also when listening to files, I have trouble relaxing my eyes, any help on that would be greatly appreciated.

As I recall, and it was some time ago, the files encourage you to replace it with your name. I think that might be earlier in the induction part where it goes "name is listening", "name is calm" etc.

Usually end up repeating 'I" if they ant you to say said "I" aloud
For those files I think I was using 'name' if they said You. For other hypnotists I tend to translate "you" to "I"
