For the record, I don't think you are soulless. Then again I see all spirits as souls. Again though, I'm not sure that you are a mermaid spirit trapped in a human body, and if you were, you’re not trapped, because as the spirit you chose too. Either case, you're better able to determine what you are then I.

No, i said it was exceedingly improbable but that according to the lore it could happen accidentally. also according to the lore any elementary that does this consciously is far advanced over the average elementary. Elementaries do do it for evolutionary purposes though.
