I looked a bit for such text to speech tools:
- AT&T Text to speech demo

very clear voices, can be saved as wav file, but only reads 15 seconds. maybe ok for trigger words...
- Natural Voice Text to Speech Reader

Freeware tool, 2 male and one female voices with good enough quality (like robo mistress), should be able to "read to file", but didn't work when I testet it
- DeskBot

Freeware, includes a nice female voice "Mary" (better than the one of the tool above), the useability of the tool is not great, reading to a file is not possible.
