Yahoo!Messenger Icons Not Working

Member profiles allow a Yahoo!Messenger ID to be stored. When a member inserts an ID into their profile, a YIM icon is displayed (see the bottom of this note).

Yesterday (27 March), I noticed that YIM icons were not functioning. When the icon is clicked, IE 7 displays an error message: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

I checked again today (28 March) and the problem still occurs for me.

If possible, would someone else check for a possible problem?

A) This situation might be unique to me and my security settings.
B) This situation might be unique to IE 7.
C) This situation might originate from within www.Yahoo.com

It probably means that Yahoo made a change of some sort, I'll see if I can't look into it.

Checking in at another website, I found they are successfully using the following string:

http://messenger.yahoo.com/edit/send/?.target=x&.src=pg

(where x is the ID)

Sadly, VERY sadly, I didn't do anything. Sounds like it was a yahoo issue but I still suspect my code is a tad dated. Send me a PM if it happens again and I'll dig into the code.
