Questions about files

I'm wondering, would a file be more effective if it refers to you personally (using your name sometimes) rather then just saying "you". Anyone have any insights into this?
One other thing, does anyone know where I could get 'real' voices for a text to speech program, i'm kinda tired of the ones that i got with my computer?

I'm not sure what's available for the computer, but I doubt there's much that sounds very natural.

As for your question about "you" versus your name, "you" should work just as well. Personally, I get a little shaken up when someone says my name. People call you "you" every day so your subconscious knows who it refers to.
