Something about AirisPOP

I've got recently an AirisPOP MP3 40GB in a mall for 40€.
I've got a small trouble with it, it works great, but ive got many many songs on it (over 3000) and the random playback function picks random songs, but all of them near themselves alphabetically, so when i select to play any song, it keeps playing tracks of Annihilator, Antrhax, Alice In Chains,... or whathever song whose author is alphabetically near the autor of the first song I select (and Im not scrolling down the 1600+- tracks until I reach Megadeth, for example).
Any ideas??

My best suggestion is that for less than 1/4 what you paid for that you could get a 1 or 2gb MP3 player that will hold around 2-400 songs and it will select random just fine, with a list that large i doubt they can succesfully randomize. Besides, will you ever listen to 1600+ songs in a row?
