If I was able to do hypnosis..

..I'd make a file that forces you to do anything, regardless of law and morality, and under the belief that you are doing it by your own free will, if someone asks you to do it in the same sentence as the trigger "would you kindly".

Discuss. Or add your own ideas of what files you would do if you were able. Whatever suits you.

Heh, very fun. I've done ones like it in the past with people. The law is the easy part to get past, morality is somewhat of a stronger barrier. Just because they are willing to listen to the mp3, doesn't meant they will disregard emotional barriers when the trigger is said; it is doable however, with a lot of thought. (Although possibly unethical? Even though people are free to listen if they wish, it sounds pretty dangerous when it is as open ended as "if SOMEONE" rather than "if I", especially when morality is disregarded.)

And I'm not very capable to talk about what I would do if I was able, I am already doing them on a regular basis!

I just want to make someone act like a chicken. I'm learning how to do hypnosis now, but by the end I want to do stage hypnosis. I want to make someone think that they really are a chicken. But I'd never do that, I just think it'd be funny to turn people into animals. :P

The old cliche, eh?

The thing is I've never actually seen someone act like a chicken, even for stage hypnosis.
The other thing about stage hypnosis is that, more likely than not, they won't actually think they are a chicken, they'll just act like one.
Think about it - the situation isn't ideal; you've got a crowd, loud noise, your own voice is booming from the mic, rather than being gentle and acoustic. Stage hypnosis (from what I've seen at least) uses a faster, more rallying method of speech than the laid back gentle voice you'd use in a private one-on-one.
All these stack up to mean you're not likely to get a really deep trance from someone, hence why a stage hypnotist filters people out first by doing exercises for the whole crowd. This will pick up responsive and outgoing people who will play along to the suggestions, but not necessarily believe them.

I still think not all the people onstage need be hypnotised - if everyone else around youis acting like they've won the lottery, and you're supposed to be acting that way too, wouldn't you feel a bit silly NOT acting like you've won the lottery?

Exactly. There is also the point with stage hypnosis, that it is normally done with a room full of drunks. I am pretty sure if you walked into a room with 200 drunks you could get on stage and get 5 of them to act like chickens without the use of hypnosis.More the alcohol making them chickens i'd say.

 Yeah I guess you're right. I never really had anyone really break that down for me. The unfortunate part, is that I've never really seen stage hypnotism live (unfortunately), so I suppose I really talking from a really random part in my head. Never woulda figured it was so cliche tho :P

I do understand where you're coming from, and personally, I probably would never have the opportunity to do something like stage hypnotism, but I still think it would be fun to do amongst friends etc.

Done. You'll find it all the way at the bottom under the name "A man chooses, a slave obeys". I doubt the concept is popular enough, but we'll just have to see how many votes it gets.
