files on the voting list that could be dangerous

I have seen some file suggestions on the voting list that could be dangerous.

one is Incontence forever. It sounds like you install the cath yourself with super glue. It is pretty easy to get an infection if you don't know how to do it and the cath needs to be removed periodically for cleaning.

another is Stitched up (for life). It says your mouth is sewn up only to be open when you hear "Speak to me then" and resealed when the conversation is over. This would prevent you from eating or drinking

I agree, but I think common sense on EMG's part prevails and the files never get made regardless of interest. I only hope they don't give anyone stupid ideas.

The voting page seems to be in need of a big overhaul in general: a harsher approval system would be a start. Maybe listing the name of the person suggesting the file, so they could get feedback, would discourage some of the wilder suggestions. Files that have been high on the list for a long time and never actioned could do to be cropped or archived in some way... files with hundreds of votes and dozens of premium votes clog the top of the list. Surely EMG has already decided if he's going to make these files or not? Then take them off the voting page, they don't need any more votes. Have a separate tab for 'new this week' files instead of just highlighting them in red.

All just suggestions, I realise some would need time/effort EMG isn't able to spare. Criticisms invited, as ever.

On another post, I said that EMG probably wouldn't make Stitched up (for life). as listed even as a custom file.

I agree with you about the stupid ideas. I would hate to see someone that doesn't know any better try to install a cath with super glue even without a file and end up in the hospital. I have never tried to buy one, but I believe in this country you need a RX to get a cath. There may be other ways to get one.

Stitched up (for life) can be modified when made to allow eating but not talking.
