do people get a better result starting with there eyes open or closed?

A lot of people think their eyes need to be closed, so sometimes it makes a difference... but it's not a requirement and not everything needs all that deep of a trance anyways. Easiest thing to do is just tell the subject to close their eyes eventually or let them close when they close if your the subject.
