Two words, UK and Diapers...

The UK and diapers........
What is wrong with the UK? Why can't we buy diapers as easily and readily
as our friends on the other side of the pond? It is so so so frustrating trying to lay your hands on diapers its unreal. As you may or may not know the UK high street is the most hostile place on the planet towards the humble diaper... I'd hazard a guess that it is currently easier to obtain an anti tank gun and several sidewinder air to ground missiles from Woolworth's than it is to get a decent diaper from a chemist!

Our (typical) UK high street options are the supermarket where you can get tena pants or drynites - both of which are just the most horrendously useless excuses of a diaper ever... what is the point of diapers that dont hold much, dont fit well and instantly leak? pointless!

So then we take a stroll down yonder to the next retail outlet... boots... which is sort of a chemist... isn't it? The boots "stay-dry", well it is, if nothing else a nappy, its white (ish) its thick and it has sticky tabs... wonderful, just like a diaper should be... but then again unless your 48 stone and pee glue... your gonna run into some problems... if like me your a 32 or less... forget it, them tabs are not going to stick to that plastic, only the material, which means the already pathetic sticky tabs are soon rendered useless.

Then if your lucky and your god decides that you should be diapered for a week or 2 you might stumble upon a chemist with 1 or 2 types of attends stashed away in the deepest darkest corner or most likely the most humiliating place possible... the chemists shop window... lovely....
Now Im sure im not the only person with these problems when it comes to buying and not being able to buy online... Why is England like this? As a community we're not asking for much, we're not like heroine addicts who want free methadone and free everything else on the NHS, we're prepared to pay our own way, all we ask is that shops make diapers easier to buy and more available, some of us have severe emotional problems and for god sake if a diaper session every couple of months is what it takes to sort ones head out then why hide the diapers behind the counter???

The mind boggles!

Um, we don't exactly have it easier here in the US either. Almost every place we can buy diapers(Supermarkets, pharmacist), have equally horrible brands: Depends and store-brand diapers. If we're lucky, some random health-care or mobility aid store will carry, like yours, some attends or tenas.

Basically, most people order online, and that's the only advice I can give ya, sorreh =/

Paperpac has ruined the Attends. They are much worse than the P & G Attends. Even the old Green Depends is better then the Depends you get now. I buy Abrina x plus on line. I am not sure but I think DryNites is the same as Goodnight, which I would call a training pant and not very good for preventing leaks.
