Hypnosis and ED

Postby Hank01 » March 31st, 2009, 7:55 pm

I have looked through most of the files on here, loving the thought of trying some of them out for sure.

What I am wondering, is there a file to help someone who is having bouts of ED? I have been diagnosed with diabetes and I guess it is effecting my abillity to stay hard when I finally get to that stage. I realize that the diabetes is a physical thing that may have more "power" over the bodily functions. However, seeing some of the files, I am so curious, and a little desperate to see if there is a file that could help me with my ED.

I'm not sure if anyone has requested this so I figured I'll go ahead and blaze the trail and maybe others will find it helpful as well.

Thank you anyone for your help.

For the guys it affects, Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is frustrating and embarrassing. Let's face it - sexuality is an important part of who we are.

Many of the hypnosis recordings on the WarpMyMind website are erotic. So it might seem logical to find an ED mp3 here.

No - and there's an important reason you won't find one here.

The best way to pursue therapeutic hypnosis is one-on-one with a hypnotherapist you trust.

Some guys imagine the embarrassment of the initial interview and they never take the step. It's hard to say I want a change.

But if you can imagine the feeling of relief that comes after telling a professional what it is you want and need...

And if you can imagine the trance a professional can guide for you - after you tell what you want and need...

Then you you've taken the first step

Hypnosis and erectile dysfunction

Postby Blink » April 1st, 2009, 5:34 pm

Don't mistake anything you read here for medical advice.

There are lots of potential causes for ED. Many of them are medical and should be checked on by a physician. One of the most common causes is medication side effect. Low blood pressure or an other vascular issue might also be the culprit. There are more possibilities. Any of these would be reasin enough for scheduling an office visit.

That said, there's a simple diagnostic that you can do that will cost a couple of bucks to see if any of this stuff will help. Get a strip of lick-and-stick stamps (not the peel-and-stick, please) with perforations between them. Wrap them around your penis before you go to bed and secure them at the ends: tape 'em or lick one of the stamps. You're making a sort of postal cock ring. In the morning, check the stamps. If they're torn along a perforation, it's a safe bet that you're having nocturnal erections. If they're torn through the middle of a stamp, you rolled over on 'em and if they came off without tearing then something unknown has happened. (Penis gremlins. Sexually disgruntled postal workers.) If the stamps aren't telling the story, try again.

If you're having nocturnal erections, then we're in business. If the wedding tackle works while you're sleeping, it's probably a psychogenic problem and not a physical one. If that's the case, scan the archives here. There's almost certain to be something on this site that will have you as hard as Chinese algebra in no time.

Of course, for a custom-tailored solution, you should probably see a professional provider in your area. Hypnosis isn't the only answer, even though it's one I really like.

Hope all this helps. Good luck.

Wow! What great encouraging news. The stamp thing really works? I think it is the diabetes that is causing the problem. I've spoken to my doctor about it and he has written a prescription of Viagra for me. I don't mind that, but it is so damn expensive. I get 6 pills for $40! So, you can bet I use them sparingly. I am able to get an erection and sometimes come to completion, but only with a lot of work and a cramp wrist and hand. TMI? Sorry. It is just so nice to have someone listen to me and offer advice. Yes, at 53 it is kind of embarassing to admit. No one but my pharmacist knows that I'm taking the big V.

I will look for a professional hypnotist to see if he can help. I'm thinking this could be great for me as I'm still having some small problems going into a deep trance. Perhaps if he is able to put me into a deep trance, that will help me when I listen to the files on here, right?

Thanks again for the awesome advice!!!!

A lot of people start out believing that they need to achieve a deep trance for hypnosis to have any effect, but that is simply not the case however since a light trance is enough for most. Hypnosis can often be done with a very light trance, depending on the desired effect and subject it's possible that a trance is not required at all.

The belief that a deep trance is required for hypnosis is generally about as accurate as the belief that hypnosis involves a complete loss of memory, or that even the lightest of trances is a state of oblivion where your mind is simply turned off unaware of the world. You really only need a light trance for most things, and those are easy to reach once you know what to reach for. People put themselves into a light trance all the time without even thinking about it, reaching that state is simply a matter of identifying those times where you space out and drift into trance... and using them to your advantage.
