Problems holding a trance

Postby CovertAgent » March 29th, 2009, 7:40 am

I'm finding it very hard to keep a trance. I'll string a number of files together, and I'll go deep enough that I black out, but I inevitably always wake up before I'm supposed to, usually somewhere in the middle of the overall file. Anybody got any suggestions?

Well, it's not easy to maintain a trance longer than about 30 minutes. After a while your brain starts surfacing again, and it would take reinforcement and deepening techniques to keep the trance deep all the way. Another thing is that after about 1 - 1½ hrs the body starts feeling restless and you need to change position in order to maintain bloodflow, prevent bed-sores and so forth. This will also bring you out of trance.

So I'd say: keep it short and sweet. No more than 30 minutes of trance at a time. If you have a multitude of files that you would like to work with, then it's better to go into trance a whole lot of times with ample "rest" in between.

I was so deep in trance the other day, that my body was sore from not being able to move, but no matter how hard I tried to open my eyes or move my arms, I couldn't.

At least not until they told me I could.

I think that's the deepest I've ever gone.

for me, at fiorst, more than 20 minutes in trance was hard, but with practice, at one point i had myself going for near an hour at a time, and with so much going on, i am down to about 45 minutes before my body moves bringing me back out.
