for soem reason its not letting me into the chatroom today, is anyone else having the same problems

I can never get in. Can you connect via an IRC chat program? Is the server name "wildfire.wishes.com" and the port 6667 if you use an IRC program? I can never connect via the website and wanted to try another way.

I'm also unable to use the chat feature(after installing Sun Java and restarting).

You can try connecting with:
irc.warpmymind.com port 6667
That always works for me.
I use mIRC btw.
