Pvt message question

I'm not sure if this is the right frum for this, but I was wondering what it means if a private message just sits in my outbox folder for awhile after i sent it. Does it mean that the send failed, or that the person just hasn't opened it yet in their inbox?

I think it means the person hasn't read it yet

the way the message system works;

You send a message,

It sits in your outbox until the other person 'reads it' (ie goes to their inbox)

It then moves to your Sent items.
