Need some advice

Postby dracolich35 » March 21st, 2010, 6:50 pm

Ok this will start like many other threads, but i promise it is a bit different. I have had no luck with hypnosis for a long time now. I have tried countless inductions, tons of different files, and followed the advice of many different people, which I am greatfull to have recieved.

Anyways, after having no success I was thinking of going to see a hypnotist in person. It just worries me a bit. I don't know what to say, or what to ask. Is it a good idea to go see a hypnotist just to learn how to go into trance. How do i go about asking about it. Is it common for people to go see a hypnotist for "Trance Training" (did i just make that up or is that a term that is already in use). Most importantly how do i find a good hypnotist and would it be 'in bad taste' to ask them how much a session would cost?

I know i have a lot of questions, but i really am anxious for hypnosis to work for me, but i haven't had any luck and this is the only thing i haven't tried, and unfortunatly it also makes ma kinnda nervous.

I'm sure someone will come along and give you better advise than I can. Just the same I decided to reply. I cannot answer most of your questions but I don't see what it can hurt and what you have to lose by calling up a few locally if you can find them and simply asking.

Now if you actually go to one and pay them and it does you no good then you have wasted your money. But as far as calling them up and making inquires, what do you have to lose. The worst that can happen is they tell you to fuck off and go away and then you can at least cross that one off as one you wouldn't want to go to anyway.

Just a thought.

Do you live in an area where you might have some success finding one?

thanks for the advice. I know that if i call the worst they can do is say no, but i just get nervous. I'm pretty sure i can find hypnotists near by, i live in the suburbs, just outside the town housing an Ivy league school in New England. (sorry i'm a little uneasy saying exactly where i live on the internet, a bit paranoid sometimes). I've googled hypnotists before and there are some in my area, but i really don't know what to ask them about is teh real problem, i don't want to sound like a nutjob or something when i call is the real problem

You don't have to PAY a hypnotist to help you. As a community service I offer one free session to people here, who are having trouble going into trance. The session is approximately 1 hour long and we connect via Skype or Yahoo messenger on the internet. All you need is privacy in your home and a headset with a mike for your computer. Then we can meet, and I can teach you how to enter into trance. The aim of this session is to teach you how to trance. If you would like help with anything besides this, I will of course charge. But feel free to book me for pay sessions that go beyond just entering trance.

Over the years I have helped countless people here in that fashion. I believe in giving back to the community, and therefore I do not charge for this one session. At the moment there is a 5 hour time difference between Denmark, where I live and the East Coast, where you live, and I can only hypnotize during evening here - from 7 pm to 10 pm my time. So work out if you are able to be on the internet for a bit of hypnosis any time in that period of time that corresponds to my "office hours" and send me a PM if you would like my help.

Best wishes
