Looks like it's down; I got the same problem.

Yep - the chat is down. It looks like there's a problem with the account that WMM uses on the IRC chat, that we're normally connected to. EMG needs to investigate, I guess.

I was able to connect to the chat with an irc program. You should be able to download mIRC or trillian if you need one.
