Best induction for beginner?

Postby hypno34319 » December 22nd, 2010, 12:41 pm

What is the best induction for a newbie to use? I just want something to get me use to going into trance, maybe a trigger to make it easier from now on, and preferable a female voice. Thanks in advance.

Hate to say this but there is no best induction. There is only the best induction that works for you. Look around and listen to different ones to find the one that works best for you. The one that works best for me, (Blinks basic induction), might not do diddly for you. Its all in the way your mind works. Sorry. I hate giving bad news.

It may depend on what you want more specifically.

I did a file for breast growth. The induction stayed on topic by introducing the fantasy that the words of the voice were like hypnotic breast milk going down the listeners throat filling their belly and spreading out through their body. It gave more listening time to the main subject and less time tip-toeing through the tulips.

Another induction for cross dressers has them imagining that they are falling naked into a giant closet filled with only womens clothing and things. As they are going into trance they are also given no choice but to pick something to wear from the limited range presented to them.

The file description will tell you something about the induction, but only you can tell what you are looking for.

There are several styles of induction that work well on mp3 files -

Progressive Relaxation - which has you relax your body one little piece at a time from head to toe, or toe to head, depending on the recording. The conscious mind is essentially bored to distraction by this induction.
Good for cooperative subjects

Confusion - which uses confusing language and confusing instructions to get your conscious mind to 'give up' and go into trance.
Good for analytical or resisting subjects

Overload - which uses multiple requests, questions, stories, and even multiple voice tracks to overload the conscious mind and put you into trance.
Good for analytical or resisting subjects

I've only just started trying stuff on this site within the last week, but I can say I've gotten some fairly positive results so far with Cardigan's "Deep Trance" induction. Last night I put it on a loop, alternating with another file, and I was down pretty deep. The only problem there was that the awakening instructions at the end kept doing just that, waking me up. I could have planned that better, I suppose. You can always edit that part out with Audacity. It's pretty simple.

Hooray spam!

But yeah, try out several different inductions, and see what works well for you. Easist way to find inductions is to go to Files, set it to only look for inductions, and sort it from best Rating to worst, and you'll find several to choose from.
