Background music?

Postby gdrileyx » April 6th, 2012, 1:26 pm

I personally find it more effective when there is background music in a hypnosis file. It seems to me that the background music distracts me justs enough to keep me from being completely distracted, from the hypnosis session, into thinking about unrelated things and ignoring the session.

What do you think? Is background music beneficial to you, or not. Clearly, I can post a voice version first, and add music later, and post the second version. So I am mostly curious.

If you ask me, the best way to reduce the amount of empty space in a file is not to have background music, but just to have background sounds. Subtle stuff, like wind or ocean sounds should work. On the other hand, they probably have a greater risk of causing unwanted trances due to how common the sounds are.

I've been told that when i put in background music its been distracting. I've found its better to go with silence and darkness.
