Editing help

Postby fionarogers » April 25th, 2012, 7:02 pm

Hi,

I'm looking to string together some files, the first would be a hypnosis, (have used EMG susceptible one) then before the wake up bit, I want to then add the script of a few others, and add the wake up bit at the end but I'm not sure how to do this, is there an MP3 editor thing I should be using.

Would prefer to have one easing in/going down into hypnosis track and then go straight to scripts, please help.

Many thanks

Fiona

mp3DirectCut , http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html

It's not a full editor, but it does good for stringing mp3 files together.

I would highly recommend Audacity for all audio editing work.

Yes Audacity good. Also when copy/pasting tracks together try to "taper" each track, i.e. use fade in/fade out even if it's just on the first/last half-second of the track. This will prevent that irritating pop you can get between tracks. Good luck!
