Getting kik for Windows computer

Tried to download kik on my computer but it says I need a windows based phone to do this. Any way around this?

To my knowledge it's a phone only app. I've got it on my iphone, but as far as I can tell it has to be on some sort of smart phone.

Thats true for now. They write they are working on a PC version, but from what i am aware of so far, it only works for devices that can take use of apps so far.

Android OS emulator for development called "Blue Stacks" can be used. It's just pretty resource intensive.
