No Free Files?

i've noticed lately that about 95% of the new files lately are only for premium members. is this just a default option that uploaders forget to turn off, or is nobody making their files free intentionally? i can't afford a membership at the moment and there used to be more free files but not anymore, it seems.

New files are premium by default and become free after 6 months. That's the incentive for having a membership. If you can't afford one there are several ways to get a free one.
