Wierd feeling, was I in a trance?

Postby TwistedDrum5 » February 23rd, 2006, 5:55 pm

I was using a different induction that i got and i was, what i believe, in a trance. Then I felt something on my arm, I thought maybe it was my chinchilla, since she was loose...but it was a different feeling, felt as if something was biting me. I later realised it was the headphone wire, but i couldn't really move my arms and such and it just felt like something was biting into my arm with every movement. Was this because of the trance? I thought maybe it just made the nerves overly sensitive or something.

any ideas?

Also when i was in the "trance" I felt as if i wanted to move, but its like my conscious was telling me not to, I was under his control, and i knew everything that was going on, i just felt really relaxed. Is this a trance? I thought if I was in a trance it was like a dream and I wouldn't really remember much. I KNEW I could move, just like I KNOW i can kill someone with the pocket in my knife...but in the same sense, It's like I didn't want to, like moving would ruin everything, and so I didn't.

so was this a trance?

Improper blood flow maybe, or a pinching nerv, try another position.

Yes, that is what I feel in a trance, you can brake out of it if you want to, but you won't want too.
In my dreams I once said, "Ahh, Yes, but how many minds does my one mind hold?".

You won't be paralyzed in trance, you will just feel like your body is extremely relaxed, because your body is in fact SLEEPING. This also means that you may lose your sense of weight, you won't really feel what you are touching unless you try to, and you probably wont itch as much.

You will know you are in a trance when you feel as if your body is spinning. This is a side effect of not being able to feel your own weight and not being able to feel the objects that you are touching.

It is at this point you must take special effort to clear your mind of all idle, wandering thoughts and focus on the subject at hand. Idealy, the hipnotist or your own planned list of things to accomplish.

There's no real litmus for trance. While this sort of relaxed state often correlates with trance, don't think it's necessary.

Yeah I can recall one time in particular when I went under and I heard the voice and I felt like I was floating underwater and spining, not fast but not slow either, and I wasnt getting dizzy at all. That sometimes happens right as im about to fall asleep, I think that my matress is being flipped over and I jolt awake, only to find that I was in my normal sleeping position the whole time. When I was in trance I wasnt startled at all by being flipped, it was relaxing.
