Will it effect my eyesight?

Will visualization/ hallucinating files in which i look in the mirror and see someone/something else hurt my eyes? I feel like whenever I listen to these files my eyes are working overtime.

It shouldn't hurt your eyes.

Actually your eyes would be working less since are "seeing" a minds eye image not the real image. unless your eyes are kind of fighting with the minds eye image over what you really are seeing. In that case is probably the same as if you were trying to read fine print for a long time, just regular eye strain.

i think that's exactly what i'm doing, trying to fight it, b/c it does feel like i've been reading a book in small type in the dark...which files might help with fighting the visualizations?

i know exactly what you mean, alot of the time after listening to a file i would be very ...not tired...more like "out of it?" and my eyes would feel weird or like tired or strained.
