I just tried a file for the first time, when it came to one, I felt my eye muscles contracting a lot, like I could see through my eye lids but couldn't open them. I also kept feeling random parts of my body spas a bit. Is this trance? or not?

Those could well be signs of trance. Going into trance and being in trance don't feel the same to everybody, but other people have mentioned feeling spasms or twitches as parts of their bodies relax. Also, feeling reluctant or unable to move parts of your body is common .
