Tips for hypnosis + rotation of/how offten you should listen

Postby Futafan357 » December 16th, 2009, 11:01 pm

Greetings everyone, Ive been interested in hypnosis for a very long time, but only got into self hypnosis for about a week now, since i discovered WMM. Ive already found some sucess with inductions, EMGs induction and Calimores Mystifying Spiral, to be exact.

So far, ive been able to feel the effects of the trance, such as the spining effect of calimores file, and the sensation of "sinking" into the bed when EMG says "deeper". However, i either remain lucid throughout the trance, or i just simply fall asleep ><. Also, i keep having trouble with fidigeting and itching >< any tips on ways to aleivate this? and, whats the best time of day to trance?

Also, what is a good limit for how many files one should lisiten to and/or how many times a day they should trance.

Thanks in advance ^_^

For your first question, maybe you should try another file. Not all files work for everyone, and if you are having problems going under, try another induction. Your mind is obviously not staying calm like it should be, if it is sending all those signals of itching and twitching.

If you feel like you are going in and out, I recommend trying a resistance induction. If you feel like you are just only half going out, try another TYPE of induction (some people who are more logical may have more problems with imagery files.

For your second question, typically your brain limits how much you can with its own comfort level. If you feel like you are starting to get headaches from thinking about going under, or feel something against listening, that usually means your subconscious is telling your brain to take a break.

There is no set limit on how often. If it feels right, it means your mind it probably accepting and not rejecting. Don't force yourself though, just to stay on a regimen.

Might be more ideas out there, but those are mine, based on what I know about the psyche, as well as personal experience.
Hope it helps :)

Thanks for you response Phantom. I dont think that its my mind resisting the inductions and causing the itching and and twitching, im juat a fidigity kinda guy XD I was more asking if anyone had solutions for thoes problems. Like, ive found wearing long sleve shirts and thermal or sweat pants helped by having a constant sensation on most of my body. But any other ideas would be helpful.

Any suggestions for a resistance induction?

As for mental fatigue. I havent yet experienced any headaches or anything like that, so i guess i havent reached my limit. :)

Thanks again

FollowTheWatch55 has one that worked quite excellent for me and my girlfriend.

I dont remember if we aren't allowed to post links here, so if I shouldn't please delete it.

For the other part, I dont mean to say you're not going under, but rather than it sounds like you could actually be a bit deeper if you listened to the one best for you, which you might need to find.

Some can put you under, but keep you in a state of limbo while suggesting you. Others make you feel asleep during that time. Sometimes thats the way the file is designed, sometimes thats just the individual's reaction to it.

I can't really say which it is, except I feel much more comfortable not feeling in a state of anxious limbo, and kept looking for ones that put me out better. I have ADHD, so it's a bit of a chore to stay still myself. The right one can still do that though. :)

And may I ask if you have any suggestions on the question I asked, in another topic here, please? [/url]

As for the ADHD, same here dude, it sucks XD. Pair that with a mild case od OCD, and you got yourself some troubles tryin to stay still for 15-30 min XD
