I'm new to this site and thought I'd introduce myself. I am an experienced (15+ years) hypnotist and erotic mind control top, but the last time I went looking for an online community for this stuff it was back in the days before USENET imploded. (If you know what I'm talking about, you know how much that statement dates me.)

I've never had problems finding real-life play partners, but also never really found much of a community, even in the BDSM organizations I've belonged to. Mainly, I'd like to be able to talk about this stuff with other experienced players. I'm not actually looking for play partners — I have several — but I am looking for pen pals and pointers to other interesting stuff on the web.

I was intrigued by the "hypno MP3" orientation of this site — I've made tapes for my lovers before (pretty fun, actually) but had no idea that there were sites for swapping such things on the web. Not that it surprised me one bit once I thought about it...

I've always made recordings for specific people I've been involved with, not for general consumption. At some point I may put up a general induction "demo," because I'm good at it and find it fun, but I need to think more about whether I would want to create something specifically erotic or kinky being posted for just anyone to listen to. I'd be curious to hear what other hypnotists who post recordings on this forum have to say on that subject.

I've created a livejournal to go along with this account, mcPhD, and will probably check that as often as this site in any case.

And yes, I am a real Ph.D., granted by a prestigious Boston-area institute of higher education whose name you all know. Not that that narrows it down much or means a whole lot in this context. But feel free to call me doctor. :)
