I'm not quite sure what's going on today. I know I got a new email, but I seem to be only part-way through obeying it. Apparently the override clause that lets me or makes me copy-and-paste an email I can't read doesn't apply until I've finished the instructions, so for now you're in the dark as much as I am.
When I got in to work this morning, there's little pink things all over the floor, like the post-it notes we stick on Jenny's computer to remind her about meetings. I thought somebody had spilled a box or something, so I was going to start picking them up. I put my bag down, bent over to pick one up, then realised I couldn't reach somehow. Its a bit of a surprise, I've been bending over at the waist for a few days now, and I've always been pretty flexible.
I realised straight away this is what one of those emails is doing to me. I had to bend at the knees for some reason, to pick one up. It wasn't a sticky note, although the same size and colour, its like a business card, but the name on it was "Bad girl :-(". Straight away, I knew it was calling me a bad girl, and I felt so ashamed for whatever I'd done wrong.
I'm pretty sure this isn't the whole command - I still see the little cards everywhere, and I'm really curious to know what else is coming, but I'm not going to try picking up another one. I know part of the command is that I'm not allowed to bend over properly to pick them up, I have to kneel down, and that makes me feel bad. Excited, but naughty, and I'm not sure if its worth it.
So for now Ill try to ignore them, and let you know what else happens.
