So I've decided it's time for a change in my life. For the first time I've decided to make a couple of New Years resolutions and have every intention of sticking with them. I usually don't bother to make any as I will procrastinate my way out of them.
This year I have resolved to cut out high-fructose corn syrup from my diet. The human body does not recognize this man-made element as food. So the liver, not knowing what else to do with it, shoves it out as belly fat. Which leads to all sorts of issues including type2 diabetes. So far I have had great success with avoiding everything that contains this evil product. I do feel better for it.
I have also resolved that I will get back down to what I weighed the day before I turned 30. The day I turned 30 I gained ten pounds and have never been able to get rid of it. In fact, I have only gained since then. In November of last year I weighed in at 175. My body was rebelling against me. Chronic heartburn, gastric issues, it wasn't pretty. I made it through the holidays without putting on any weight. Quite a feat considering my family. We can't just have a turkey for Thanksgiving. We have to have turkey, ham, two different kinds of potatos, breads, beans (baked, green, etc), deserts. My mother will cook for 30 people and invite 10.
Another resolution is that I am going to start developing the body I have always wanted. Smooth, muscular and masculine. I have put together a playlist of files from this site by various authors that I will be using to help me along this path.
