January 1: Blinkby jtn2010So I started by going to the chat channel thing and just asking for advice on knowing if I'm truly in trance and what files could be a good way to "practice" going into trance; and I got Blink's Basic Induction a few times so I figured let's start there.
I listened to the file once and afterwards I was pretty sure I didn't go into trance, BUT I did feel more relaxed than I normally had after listening to a file and I really felt I was focused unintentionally on what he was talking about (my mind didn't wander which was a first for me).
I listened to it more about once a night for a week (Sunday to Friday in this case) and really was noticing a lot of changes. I never once fell asleep during it which I had many times in the past except one night where I put it on loop as I was going to bed which I'm not sure how much it helped (hard to tell without an effect I suppose).
And I still can't say if I was in trance but I found myself more or less unable to really think about anything else during the session and instead of feeling groggy when it was over I would always feel really refreshed and overall just happy.
Again I'm not sure if I was in trance or not but I really felt like the speaker was in control of my mind at least directing my thoughts instead of me listening and wandering.
I've kept the file around and I listen to it ~ once a week especially if I'm stressed about the week on like a Tuesday evening it really puts me in a good place.
