I stayed up waiting for F to make contact with me. I watched some TV, sat outside, watched more TV and eventually decided to go to bed. I couldn’t sleep. My stomach was in a knot. I had the most unbelievable sense of jealousy, but at the same time, I felt so proud of her.

Andrew took F to dinner at a really exclusive roof top restaurant in the city. It has panoramic views of the bay and the table that he booked was in one corner pretty much isolated from the other tables. I have been there before for a work function and it is not cheap.
