A party to remember?
It started out simply enough, another new file on the site, a simple trance. But one that promised something extra for those bold enough to listen. I admit, I was intrigued. I've often said curiosity is my biggest weakness, well, curiosity and red heads with great legs. At any rate, the something extra was an invite to a party, a very special party. It seemed someone had decided to take things from the digital to the real world, and bring hypnotists and their admirers together, the file promised a night to remember, or maybe not remember at all. The whole thing ended with a website, if the listener was willing to join the fun.
There's not much point in filling in all the details of the website, suffice to say I was there in moments, and within days the rest of the information came in the mail. It was a costume party, but a special one. Seems the powers assembling this little party were planning more than just an average get together, this was a chance for all the enthusiasts to "swim with the sharks", every hypnotist invited was going to be given carte blanche to do as they would with any guest, with the provision that no change lasted longer than the next morning, without the permission of the subject. More importantly, the costume contest would only be judged at the end, after the 'tists had had their way with whomever they chose. There would be additional costumes provided that would reflect some of the more common changes on the site, bimbos, bunny girls, animals, babies, and so forth. So that if a 'tist chose, they could (and presumably would) remove contestants from the game, changing them into 'generic' party goers. Since whoever was arranging this had set up a prize pool of over $10,000, there was definitely a little incentive to play dirty.
I arrived that night in a steam punk explorer outfit, I might have been able to find something more eye catching, but I had decided on a strategy, stay middle of the road on the costume, and try to win the contest, THEN meet the 'tists.
Looking at the entrance to the complex that had been rented, I could only gasp. The place looked like a small estate, manicured lawns, leading along a gravel drive to a large, well, mansion. The rhythmic thrum of bass poured out of the front door, the entrancing vanguard of the music playing inside. Lights flashed beyond the door, and the susurrus of voices rose and fell like the tide in a gentle counterpoint. The sound of my feet crunching up the last steps of the gravel drive was all but drowned out. I was greeted at the door by a smiling, slightly vacant bunny girl in shining black latex. It seemed the staff were either in on the whole thing, or they had been early victims. While the bunny looked over my invitation, I took the opportunity to check out the scene inside.
From the foyer, I could see the main staircase, with a sign reading "Changing Rooms". These appeared to be doing a brisk business, as a steady stream of costumed folk wandered up the stairs, while others, probably victims of the game, wandered down. Big haired women of all shapes and sizes wandered down in groups, high pitched giggles sending whole groups into sudden fits of vacuous laughter. While I tried not to eavesdrop, I still winced at how badly the word 'like' was being abused. Ah, the sacrifices we make to pursue our passions. I saw several more bunny girls roaming the stairs as well, some coming down, smiling blankly, their hips wiggling in an almost exaggerated way. Others helping guests up the stairs, or carrying trays with drinks, food, or sometimes clothes. A few "babies" were also being escorted down, either by bunnies, or by "mothers and/or fathers". Each one looked blissfully happy, content sucking on pacifiers, or hugging tight small dolls or stuffed animals. I took a deep breath, bracing myself, it was a heady mixture, sweet perfumes, baby powder, sweat, hints of different foods further into the house, and the slightly bittersweet tang of alcohol. If one could bottle the scent of a bacchanal, I imagine it would smell like this. I felt my heart beat quicken, matching the pounding rhythm of the music, a constant companion in the background bursting with energy and a raw need to be, to move, to do.
I couldn't help it, a smile was creeping onto my lips, lopsided, and a bit mischievous. This was going to be good, win or lose, I couldn't imagine not having fun.
Even as that thought rang in my head like a bell, I heard an elevator behind the stairs open, and watched as several pets were led out. Some were just in collars, led by leashes held by beautiful men and women, some were dressed as animals, either in fetish gear or whole suits, down on all fours and wandering happily. My grin widened, I was definitely in the deep end now.
I shook my head, I had to stay focused. It was time to find my place. I might not be top of the food chain, but tonight I was chasing a prize, and that meant I was hunting, I needed territory, somewhere that would be familiar, where I could watch and learn.
My first thought as I wandered into the ballroom, the heart of the party, was to grab one of the corner alcoves. Some appeared to be booths, or areas filled with cushions. One appeared to have been converted into a daycare center of sorts, I dismissed that one right away, that was clearly someone's hunting ground.
I drifted towards one filled with women, bouncing and dancing together. As I neared, a blonde with startling blue eyes moved towards me. She smiled, and it was something to behold, beautiful white teeth flashed in a combination of innocence and predatory hunger, I felt my breath catch. She leaned towards me, her lips, the bright red that signals either the sweetest fruit or deadliest poison closed to within a hairs breadth of my ear, her breath like the welcoming warmth of a sauna tickled my neck as she spoke, "So, like, who are you supposed to be sweety?", before I could begin to answer, I felt the nails of her hand sliding gently down the leg of my pants, even as she began to rub against me.
I can't say wasn't tempted to stay, especially since it appeared several of her friends had also caught wind of me and were closing in. But then, I knew, with her nails touching me, and her soft, firm body pressed against me, I wouldn't be thinking much more than she was, or about much else. I'd be easy pickings. Even as the heat between us began to build, causing her rather impressive display of flesh to glisten in an even more distracting fashion, I broke away.
My heart was pounding, I could hear my pulse in my ears, and I felt so warm. I took a few deep breaths. Calming myself, even as I noticed that here the smell was more of sweat, and sex. That scent of pheromones and excitement so heavy in the air, it almost drowned out the perfume. I wandered to the bar near the center of the floor, paradoxically an island of relative calm in the surging sea of bodies.
I took a moment as I reached the bar, letting my hands press gently down onto the cool glass, feeling a bit of the heat slowly drain out of me as I relaxed. I closed my eyes, just for a moment. Letting my heart slow. When I felt ready, I opened my eyes again, looking around at the bar. There were a few bar tenders stationed around the large oval the perimeter of the bar described. each seemed to have a small swarm of bunny girls and chip and dale men who cycled past picking up trays of drinks. A few patrons sat around the bar proper on stools. There was one who really caught my eye. A bunny girl. I assumed she was just on a break as she sat, idly looking out at the room, her face in profile, and a long cascade of hair tumbling down her back. I looked at it, wondering, debating with myself whether it was auburn, or a dark red, or a blonde that was being highlighted by the ambient glow of the rooms many lights.
I guess I had been at it for some time, because she turned to regard me. "Been a long night has it?" She asked. I had been expecting something high and girly, bubbly. This was anything but, her voice was soft and deep, and smooth. If one could capture the sound of deep red velvet being gently stroked just right, you might have it, or perhaps, if you can imagine the sound of a quiet summer night out amongst the stars, you might be close. Either way, it left me gaping.
I felt the color rise in my cheeks, my mouth worked at a response I was sure was moments away from being a charming and witty excuse. It didn't matter, I saw her lips curl, lips not bright and garish, but soft and subtle, just a hint more red than natural, like the first blush of a strawberry as it ripens. I glanced down, hoping that might buy me a moment. then I felt a soft hand as she gently reached out and placed her own atop mine.
"Hey", she purred, "it's alright, I was just giving you a hard time."
She patted my hand gently, and I looked up into wonderful green eyes. There is green like jade, and green like grass, and these were neither. Her eyes were like the last green tree in a grove of aspens as the autumn turns. Dark green flecked with light, surrounded with a slight gold ring. These were eyes you could just dive into. I caught myself staring again and looked down.
This time her other hand came up to gently cup my chin, pulling my eyes back up to meet hers. She stared deeply into my eyes and breathed gently, "Relax, just relax and let it go." I smiled, letting out a small breath. "There you go", she smiled, her thumb gently stroked the back of my hand, "that's better isn't it?" I smiled. "That's right, it's just a party after all, no reason to worry, no reason to fight."
I grinned, feeling silly, she was right, of course there was no reason to fight. "So, what brings you here?" I asked, beginning to glance around.
"Oh, I just work these events sometimes" She said in that darkly seductive voice of hers. "What about you?"
"I'm here to win the prize," I replied, my glance straying back to her eyes. She smiled as we made eye contact, and again I felt that gentle soothing stroke of her thumb on my hand. " I figure I have a good shot if I can just stay out of trouble for a while, avoid the roaming 'tists."
My eyes started to drift back out over the crowd until I saw her free hand come up and gently brush a hair from her eyes, those wonderful deep eyes. Her smile widened, "Oh, well I haven't seen any around here, so you can just relax with me", her hand gently squeezed mine. I mirrored her smile, feeling my shoulders loosen, glad to know I had someone to trust here.
She leaned in close, and I found myself doing the same, like friends about to share a secret. "You know, it's been a long night for me, I'm just a little tired", she purred gently, gazing intently into my eyes, "Do you ever get tired?" She squeezed my hand again, her smile flaring wider for just a moment, even as she slightly nodded.
I nodded in turn, smiling ruefully, realizing that it had been a long night. Her smile took on a very caring aspect, her free hand gently tugging my arm from the bar, one hand holding mine in a reassuring squeeze, the other running soft fingers along the length of my forearm. I felt my heart pounding just a bit, though I wasn't sure why, everything seemed fine. She leaned forward, gently pushing my arm back down and in at the elbow. I could smell her perfume now, soft and subtle, it was the scent of orchids. I inhaled deeply, feeling even more tired as she whispered in that soft soothing purr, "you are so tired now, aren't you?"
I felt her press against me, yielding and firm, warm and comfortable, like she was made to mold against me. "Yes." I answered, knowing it was the only answer I could give.
She looked into my eyes and I stared into hers, a rabbit looking into the hawks cool gaze. Her arm reached around me, the cool smooth backs of her nails ran gently down my fevered neck. Her smile changed, more wicked now than welcoming. I registered the change but didn't care, I stared down into those eyes. "You can trust me, trust me to help you. Trust me to take care of you." That voice seemed to resonate through me. I felt the truth of those words like a pulse, from the tips of my toes to my head. I nodded.
"That's right." Her hand was on my cheek then, a soft caress. "Just sleep now. Sleep, and listen to my voice."
I smiled, feeling myself slipping down into that familiar sweet rest. The last thing I remember is her voice, "poor sweet thing, never even knew some hunters use camouflage..."
