As old as I am shouldn't I be put out to pasture? I shook my shoulders a little. I do that after standing. Knees feel like recycled parts from a Volkswagen's front end. The intro should be soon. Any style you note here please, be free to use on your brother, your sister, even friends or whatever. Follow them right and they work. Like everything, it only takes practice, right?"
By a round of applause at The University of Maine, Haxsaw traipsed out. He gently turned left and right, eyeing those gathered at the Haulk Auditorium he was performing in. Late as it was a spot light followed.
Hypnosis with Haxsaw was what it was billed as. This University was of many he frequented along the New England States. Soon, Haxsaw had a volunteer on the stage. He was a football player for The University of Maine Black Bears team. After some laughter from the antics, the young man was told to sit again.
After an hour of performing Haxsaw was to have his grand closing act. A young lady with blonde hair came forward. Haxsaw could see she was looking about with darting eyes. With lack of attention not even he could place her under.
"Look in my eyes, just my eyes," he commanded. As he made dead eye contact with her his head lilted backward, just a bit. As he looked into her eyes he gazed at the bridge of her nose. In short time she was making excellent eye contact.
In making eye contact one needed to look at the bridge of the nose between the eyes. Looking at the eyes, themselves, confused anyone. It would mean concentrating on either or the left or even the right eye. Unfocused attention from the hypnotist merely confused the subject. It broke the gaze. It also ruined an act.
Haxsaw was standing close to her. He spoke in a steady, easy yet strong tone of voice. He soon stepped back. In stepping back a few steps Haxsaw was intent on maintaining eye contact. Breaking it even once would ruin the window of opportunity. Maybe some only thought of Windows 8. This was different.
As he told of her face relaxing and even her arms and legs he pointed with his right hand, gently and easily. He also, at the same time, raised his left hand high. Stopping and being still, keeping the eye contact intent he smiled. He told she was sleepy and zoning out, forgetting what she was trying to remember. As he waved, more like rolled about his left hand he stepped in close, pronouncing, "Close your eyes! Sleep now!"
Haxsaw had her posed, body becoming stiff. He next tossed several hundred U.S. dollars about the stage. Reminding her she could not move he stated the money was hers, should she pick it up.
At end of the act he had her standing upright. He told her she could not remember anything yet would be easily hypnotized, over and over. After snapping his fingers the show was over. While she bowed with Haxsaw and the crowd wished a good night, Haxsaw slipped a card to the girl. He whispered in her ear. She smiled, dulled a tad. She said it was, "Yes."
In a hotel room she went to visit. Haxsaw was paid in full.
