Like being covered in warm sand....

by patches

I lay in my bed listening to the CD my Master had sent me. I had to reburn an audio disk and kept the order I just cut out the induction file with the music in it. The first song was a little odd, not my usual choice but it was nice all the same. When the induction file started and I heard my Master's voice my pulse picked up. He sounded better then I thought he would, very commanding and sure of himself. I felt like he was whispering into my ear in person as I listen. After the initial rush from hearing his voice my body relaxed as he talked. The same reaction I had to the other induction files just knowing that it was time to go under and my body prepared itself. Limbs relaxing and the tension leaving my body as I listen without realizing it I was pretty deeply relaxed. The story was boring, almost painfully so. As I listen to the words I thought it reminded me of lectures in a boring class in school. Except for one big difference. As if something were hidden in the words when I heard them they ment little but when I thought about them something clicked. Hearing about the meaning of the word Doctor was boring, I had heard this before but when I thougth about it a new depth filled the words. A Doctor, a master who is still learning...no one is ever a true master there is always more to learn. I think half way into the file I realized I couldn't move even when I tried to. I was under and found a new depth in my trance. I was aware of the voice whispering to me, I knew it was my Master and I knew what he was trying to do but I didn't realize he had already done it. The induction was so long I'm not sure if I was awake for all of it. I recall just before I flet like I would fall asleep I heard Master's voice saying "Good boy". This file has so many meanings in each sentence its hard for me to type up a detailed report for the whole thing. I found myself intrested in the Doctor, color blind except for one color, crippled twice early in his life and deaf but still able to grasp someone's attention with a delicacy I could only imagine. As far as the effects the file had on me (that I know of atleast). I felt relaxed as soon as I heard the voice whispering into my ear. The story relaxed me and eased me into a trance deeper then I have ever been in before and without me knowing when it happen. I felt relaxed and obedient as I listen, like a good puppy should be. When it was done I felt very at ease and my brain felt a little 'fuzzy' like I was half asleep. I had some odd dreams that night. Atleast three different dreams but I can only remember feelings of most of them. Well this is definatly going to be intresting to delve into. Thank you Master for taking the time to make this CD for me, I hope this report is detailed enough. ~Patches~

This was an excellent report, Patches. I'm glad that you appreicate the subtlety of the work. The style of the induction was pioneered by Dr. Erickson and is called "nondirective." You're right that the hypnotic instructions are embedded in the stories. I've already told you that there is quite a lot of work in that induction. (And it's just the beginning. The next in the set is simpler work, but goes on even longer.) You'll find something different to catch your attention each time you listen to it. I'm particularly pleased that you've gained new depth in trance. Thanks also for the many kind comments regarding my voice. Given the primitive recording arrangements, I'm glad you could understand me at all. Now... as your dreams get more... interesting, we need to get you started keeping a dream journal. I'll explain later. -- JAU
